The battle between the Rams and 49ers throughout the season for supremacy in the division will be one that all football fans should keep an eye on, especially considering how complex the schedules for both teams look. Sadly though, having to start the season without star WR DeAndre Hopkins, who will be out for the first six games of the season because of a suspension, as well as Arizona, being the usual volatile team they have been for the past few seasons, this division is up for Los Angeles to win once again. If you were to ask me personally about what team deserves a chance to show that they can hang with the big boys in the conference, it wouldn’t take more than half a second to give the Arizona Cardinals a shout-out. With that said, Justin Jefferson and Dalvin Cook in the Vikings will be trouble for opposing defenses and the Lions with their ground and pound style of football are slowly working on becoming a good team, but for now, this division is all about Green Bay and nothing else.

Having Rodgers on the field automatically makes Green Bay a contender and a favorite in almost every game they play, with their hold on the NFC North title being as strong as ever. Even after losing Davante Adams to the Raiders during the offseason, some teams ride and die on what one specific player can bring to the table, like the Packers with Rodgers. DeVonta Smith | Leff/Getty Images/AFP NFC North: Green Bay PackersĪs long as Rodgers is rocking the green and yellow for the Green Bay Packers, the NFC North will continue to be his kingdom, and there is nothing that the Bears, Lions, and Vikings can do about it. If you add Dallas’ perennial struggles, especially with finding help for Dak Prescott on offense, Washington’s elite defense, but sometimes underwhelming offense, and the Giants, who by just being the Giants is enough of a setback in itself, everything adds up for the Eagles to take the NFC East crown. Jalen Hurts looks ready to become the team’s true franchise QB for the foreseeable future and their defense always shows up when needed most. Their receiver core, with AJ Brown, now pairing side to side with DeVonta Smith will be a nightmare for opposing secondaries and also a breath of fresh air for an Eagles team who relied heavily on a rush-friendly strategy left and right last season. I mean, yes, I don’t necessarily like them, but that is not my reasoning behind why thinking that the Philadelphia Eagles are a much better pick to win the NFC East title than “America’s Team.” The Eagles have done some masterful work this offseason gearing up their team both on offense and defense to make sure they are ready to give the Cowboys a strong run for their title. It’s not that I don’t like the Dallas Cowboys. For now, as we wait for the coveted Week 1 kickoff, let’s cut to the chase and talk about the teams we see making a winning stance in the NFC this upcoming season. And what about the Packers, 49ers, Cowboys, Eagles, and Saints?įrom the looks of it and according to the top NFL lines outlets, if there is something that is completely certain about the NFC it’s that there are as many contenders and pretenders to the conference throne as there are stars on the Hollywood Boulevard.

As all eyes will be on them in the NFC to see if they can manage to snag another Super Bowl title to put in their trophy case, will the Rams pull it off? Will another team, with a certain player that goes by the name of Tom Brady have anything to say? But not just that, how about if the cheeseheads from Wisconsin, led by Aaron Rodgers also want to put their bid in?Īs NFL odds experts have been predicting, especially the top NFL Vegas odds makers, while the Rams do have one of the best and most rounded teams in the NFC, it would be a massive mistake to push Brady and his Buccaneers to the side, more after signing former Falcons and Titans WR Julio Jones. Calling the LA Rams! Calling the LA Rams! It’s almost time for the reigning and defending Super Bowl Champions to try and run it back this upcoming season.
